Intro to Pickleball Clinic
This class is designed for newcomers to pickleball or players with limited experience. It covers the basic fundamentals of the game, including rules, court layout, and scoring. Players will learn how to hold the paddle, proper stance, and basic strokes such as the forehand, backhand, and serve. Emphasis is placed on developing hand-eye coordination, understanding the rules of play, and building confidence. The class is fun, relaxed, and intended to make new players feel comfortable with the game.
Novice Plus Pickleball Clinic
This clinic is for those who have already learned the basics of the game, including the rules and how to keep score. It will be a deeper dive into the proper mechanics of the basic shots, including the dink, serves, return of serves, as well as a basic introduction into other shots, such as the drop shot, drives, blocks and volleys. This clinic will also cover basic shot and partner strategy.
Intermediate Pickleball Clinic
This class is for players who have a solid understanding of the basic rules and techniques and are ready to refine their skills. Players will focus on improving consistency, footwork, and positioning. The class will delve into more advanced strokes like the third-shot drop, dinking, and the volley game at the net. There will be an emphasis on strategic play, including understanding when to attack or defend and improving communication with a partner in doubles play.
Juniors Pickleball Clinic
The World’s fastest-growing sport is unique because people of any age can play! Pickleball has been described as a combination of tennis, badminton & ping pong. The game is easy to learn and tons of fun. In this clinic, your child will work on hand-eye coordination, familiarity with the paddle and the ball, footwork and pickleball specific movement through a series of exercises, drills and games. We will begin to introduce your child to the basics of the game of pickleball.
